Before joining Felicity Bryan as an agent in 2016, I worked for five years at Conville & Walsh Literary Agency. My clients include award-winning writers of literary fiction, book-club fiction and a range of non-fiction. At Felicity Bryan I am actively building a list of clients, with a focus on debut authors.

The thing I enjoy most about my job is the process of guiding a book from first draft to final version, and I love working closely with authors and their work. On the fiction side, I represent literary and book-club titles. It’s difficult to define what I am looking for in a novel besides fantastic writing, but I always seem to be drawn to unique and diverse voices, atmospheric settings, coming-of-age stories and books that capture the zeitgeist. A few novels I have read and loved recently are THE LESSER BOHEMIANS, MY NAME IS LUCY BARTON and THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD.

On the non-fiction side I’m keen to see strong writers who are passionate – perhaps even bordering on obsessive – about a topic, and I have a particular interest in books about science, nature, big ideas, history, travel, sport, health, women, art and music.
