*** Please note Tracey is currently working with a mentee and is not accepting applications at this time ***
I began writing fiction after a career in theatre and community arts. My short stories have been published in anthologies and literary magazines and I am a former runner up of The Scotsman and Orange Short Story Award. I’ve recently completed my first novel, Choose Me, a psychological thriller. I have a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh, and it was whilst studying there that I became a firm believer in the advantages of belonging to a writing community. I have also been mentored by the Scottish Book Trust. I continue to receive unofficial mentoring and feedback from my writer friends and couldn’t survive without it! I work as a freelance literary consultant and greatly enjoy reading manuscripts and providing feedback that will help a writer progress with a project.
My agent is Charlie Brotherstone from Ed Victor Ltd.
