I graduated from a Masters in Writing in NUI Galway with first class honours in 2003. Since then, I have been thrice shortlisted for the Hennessy New Irish Writing Award. I am also featured in a special sci-fi/fantasy anthology Music For Another World as well as Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.
My novel in progress was selected as one of the final ten in the Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair, 2013. It has now been acquired for publication in 2014 by O’Brien Press/Brandon.

I have also run workshops on developing writing style in arts centres across Ireland.

My day job as IT analyst and aim to be an advocate for ending stigma against mental illness of any kind.

It depends on the person’s location. If they are within the greater Dublin area then I am happy to meet in person. I would envisage two two-hour sessions and a follow-up email to “”check-in””. If the person is not nearby, then I would recommend their sending me 5,000 max words of their work and we could go through that via email.
