Julia Forster is the author of a coming of age novel set in 1988, What a Way to Go (Atlantic Books, 2016) and also a non-fiction title Muses: Revealing the Nature of Inspiration (Pocket Essentials, 2007).
Since 2013 she has worked for Literature Wales assessing works in progress (novels, creative non-fiction and short stories) for the writers’ bursaries scheme, having received a bursary herself to commence writing her novel in 2011. Julia has worked in a wide variety of roles within the publishing industry since the age of 20, including two years working in a literary agency where one of her jobs was sifting daily submissions. She has an M Litt. in Creative Writing from the University of St Andrews.
