My debut short story collection ‘Sweet Home’ won the 2012 Scott Prize. My novel ‘A Song for Issy Bradley’ will be published by Hutchinson (U.K) and Ballantine (U.S) in June 2014. I am an associate lecturer at Edge Hill University where I am completing a Creative Writing PhD. I live in the seaside town of Southport in the north of England with my husband and four children.
