Sarah Rigby is Senior Editor at Hutchinson, part of Penguin Random House. Previous to this she was Senior Editor at the independent publisher, Atlantic Books, where she worked with many bestselling and award-winning authors. At Hutchinson her recent signings include debut novelists Brooke Davis (Lost & Found) and James Scott (The Kept); historian and BBC broadcaster Michael Scott; an epic history of St Petersburg by Jonathan Miles; Caught in the Revolution: Petrograd 1917 by bestselling historian Helen Rappaport; nature writer Rob Cowen’s highly acclaimed Common Ground and Matthew Parker’s bestselling biography, Goldeneye: Where Bond Was Born. She was also the publisher of the beautiful atlas of the constellations, Stories in the Stars – winner at the British Book Design and Production Awards – and Lizzie Ostrom’s stunning tour of a century of scents, Perfume.
Apart from reading and working with authors, she loves cooking, singing and the great outdoors. She grew up in East Yorkshire, studied at Cambridge University and lives in London.
